"How long after I order one of these cast iron clawfoot tubs from you before it is shipped?"
It generally takes about 3-5 weeks after you place order the tub from us before the factory ships the tub to you.

"Anything else that I should consider (know about) when buying a cast iron bath tub?"
All brands of cast iron products: if ordered with unfinished exteriors will need to be painted on the non painted surfaces, if you wish to prevent (natural) rusting on cast iron. All brands of enameled cast iron tubs, sinks, floor sinks and lavs may have some overspray of enamel (however small). All brands of enameled cast iron plumbing products will have some waves in the finish (meaning the surface is not totally flat - unlike glass on top of sheetmetal). Reminder: check your tub immediately after receiving for any freight damage or defects. After 30 days warranty is with the manufacturer.

"Are these cast iron tubs antique or reproductions?"
We only sell new, quality cast iron tubs. We do not offer used or "refinished" (painted with epoxy inside) tubs. These tubs have a real porcelain china glaze on the inside and they are brand new, similar to the tubs sold new 80 plus years ago.
