inhalation of steam while showering than from drinking water, the benefits of shower filtration
have become obvious to many people.
We do know that chlorine strips the natural protective oils from hair and skin which can lead to excess
drying and aging.
A warm shower opens the pores of the skin and allows a higher rate of absorption of chlorine and other chemicals.
The steam we inhale while showering can contain many times the level of chlorine and other
synthetic chemicals than tap water due to the fact that these chemicals vaporize at a lower
temperature and at a much faster rate than water.
Many say that inhalation of chlorine and other chemical vapors from shower water are a strong
irritant to the tissues in our lungs and a suspected cause of asthma and bronchitis and that
when chemicals are inhaled into our lungs they enter directly into our bloodstream and can
have magnified effects versus ingested chemicals which are partially filtered by digestion.

These great shower filters don't necessarily
eliminate the chemicals mentioned. They usually will lower the amount of chemicals. It really depends on your water conditions.
Water qualities is very complicated/complex. We wish to be totally honest and not "sell" something
that we don't believe in. We have had many "thanks" and compliments and repeat business with these Sprite shower filters but we do
want you to know that in some water conditions they won't do that much nor will they last long.
Some water qualities are extra-ordinary. The above shower water filters reduce many chemicals, for most situations, but they are not
a be-all and fix-all for all water qualities. In some cases you might also need a whole house sand filter,
a water softener, an iron removal system, or maybe a
whole house water filter. In some cases, where you have very poor quality water, it might be best to hire a local water expert to give you advice on how to deal with your bad water.
