The Sloan Act-O-Matic showerhead delivers an invigorating
"cone-within-a-cone" spray that has become synonymous with luxury. Water is
directed from the showerhead in two distinct circles. This "cone-within-a cone"
pattern directs the spray to the whole body for a completly refreshing shower experience.
Used in some of the world's finest hotels, where guest satisfaction is the
highest priority, the Act-O-Matic is crafted for performance, quality and durability.
Self-Cleaning
The spring loaded Act-O-Matic is designed to deliver the perfect shower each and
every use. Sand or other particles that are carried in the water supply can
foul the spray pattern of traditional showerheads. Because the Act-O-Matic spray
disc retracts into its drain position when the water is turned off, these particles
are washed away. This fast drain feature also prevents residual slow dripping
after showerhead use. When the water is turned back on, the spray disc springs
out, ready to deliver another perfect shower.
Water Saving
Sloan Act-O-Matic showerheads incorporate a pressure compensating flow restrictor
that meets the 2.5 gallon per minutes maximum flow requirements as set by the
United States Federal Energy Policy Act and other national and international
codes and standards. At 20 psi, the Act-O-Matic comes to full flow and holds that
flow across a full range of water pressures. Unlike other showerheads that use
fixed orifice flow controls, the Act-O-Matic maintains a consistent, powerful
spray that people have come to appreciate and prefer.
Super low prices for quality second to none!
"Do you sell any showerheads that completely shut off water flow?"
No, and we are not aware of any
showerheads that have the ability to completely stop water flow. With your shower valve still open and the showerhead
completely closed, it is possible for hot water to force itself into the cold water line. Once the showerhead is
opened again, only hot water flows for a moment, creating a risk of scalding. Showerheads are normally
manufactured to dribble a small amount and prevent this from occurring.
