We normally ship "Standard Delivery" via normal shipping carriers (UPS/FedEx/Etc) to anywhere in the Continental U.S.

On our "standard delivery" shipments, no matter what our cost or weight of the shipment, we charge at 8% (or less) for all destinations in the Contiguous United States (some orders get a small processing charge added, click here to read more).

Orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii can be shipped via 2nd Day Air or, in some cases, U.S. Mail, only.

If you specifically ask to have your order sent by U.S. mail, your shipping charges will be determined by the rates listed below including insurance if the product's subtotal is $200.00 or over. Orders going out of the country requiring a customs declaration (Guam, Palau, Mariana Islands APO, FPO, etc.), or other documentation, MUST go to the Post Office.

Also, PayPal orders that have an order total of $250.00 or more must be signed for at the time of delivery.

We prefer to use standard shipping carriers such as UPS or FedEx, because we can track where your shipment is at any time and both UPS and FedEx pick up daily at our facility. For some U.S. Postal Service deliveries, we must drive to the post office, park, stand in line (sometimes for a long time), and drive back. Labor is much higher for us to ship by U.S. Mail (for packages that weigh more than two pounds and/or require customs forms).

Please note that if your order is very small, low priced and/or lightweight (weighing less than one pound), we may choose to ship your package by U.S. Mail instead, even if you select regular Ground shipment.

For those that choose U.S. Mail service, it is not our intent to make additional "profit" from the shipping and processing charges that are assessed for the requested U.S. Mail service. We hope that you recognize that we want to please you and will ship by U.S. Mail if that is what you prefer, but we have additional labor costs when we have to go to the post office.

In nearly all cases you will be paying more for shipping charges if you chose USPS (U.S. mail) compared to "standard deliver".

Note: Please be aware we will need your approval of your postage charges (for packages weighing more than one pound) if they are more than half the cost of the products you are ordering OR if the postage exceeds $250.00. In such cases, we will contact you for your approval before processing or shipping your order.

When you select US Mail as your method of shipment, please understand our on-line ordering system will be unable to calculate the postage or provide an order total when your order is submitted, as our system has no way of determining the weight of the products you are ordering. Our Shipping Department will calculate those charges when they fill your order. If you would like to know the U.S. Postal charges for your order prior to ordering, please email us . You may also request, in the "Comments" section of the order form, to be contacted with the postage totals prior to the processing/completion of the order.

Note: not every item can be shipped by the U.S. Post Office. If we receive your order for postal by 5:00pm (Central Time) Mon/Wed/Fri it can be shipped that day Tuesday's orders are shipped on Wednesday, Thursday's on Friday. We stand in line at the post office every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

We much prefer shipping by UPS or FedEx compared to USPS. We do get receipts for delivery from the USPS but we are unable to track where your package is exactly at all times with USPS.
