"What is a Washlet?"
A Washlet is a toilet seat with warm water, bidet style washing. It is a replacement toilet seat, and can be installed on a new or existing toilet, the same as any regular toilet seat. A Washlet will typically have additional functions and features, depending on the model and price range.
"What is SanaGloss?"
SanaGloss is a toilet glazing that helps keep the toilet bowl clean for a lifetime. SanaGloss glazing seals the toilet bowl with an ionized barrier, creating a super smooth surface. This non-porous surface helps prevent particles from adhering to ceramic, while the catalyzed ion barrier actually repels particles away.
"What is the difference between a one-piece and a two-piece toilet?"
Two piece toilets have a separate tank and bowl, while one-piece designs have a single, integrated tank and bowl design. One-piece toilet designs are more popular for upscale residential installations.
"For the Neorest toilet, how long can I use the Washlet before running out of warm water?"
The Neorest uses an instantaneous water heater to provide endless warm water.
"How do I WINTERIZE my Neorest? We have it installed in our summer home."
Turn off the water supply and drain the Washlet. The siphon jet supply line is insulated, but a small amount of antifreeze may be added to the bowl to prevent freezing.
"If I buy the Neorest toilet, what happens if there is a power outage and I have no electricity?"
The Neorest has a MANUAL OVERRIDE flush.
"Can I turn off the Washlet functions on the Neorest toilet if I don't want to use it?"
Yes, there is a Washlet shut-off, located on the left hand side of the casing.
"Do I need special plumbing/wiring to use the Neorest?"
No, the water supply connection is standard 1/2 inch, and the unit plugs into a standard 120 Volt AC (GFCI (fused)) outlet.
"Can I install a Neorest on my existing plumbing?"
Yes, as long as you have a 12" Rough-in and your water supply is located approximately 11" off-center.
"Does the Neorest work with a 10" or 14" rough-in?"
No, not yet.
"What is the flushing performance like for the Neorest Cyclone Flushing System?"
The "Cyclone" Siphon Jet flush has the equivalent strength of Power Gravity. It is a 3-stage flush: 1st, a swirling (cyclone) rim wash (1.5L). 2nd, a powerful siphon jet sends the waste.
"Why are toilet seats non-returnable?"
For hygiene reasons, we cannot allow or accept return of any toilet seat or bidet seat once it has left our warehouse. When you order your seat from us, you can be absolutely certain the seat is brand new, and has never been used by anyone before you. Once a seat has been delivered and has been in the possession of the purchaser, there is no way for us to be completely sure the seat was never installed or tested; even if we're told the box had only been opened to look at the color or design of the seat, how would we then be able to guarantee the cleanliness of that seat to any other customer? We want you to rest assured any toilet seat you purchase from us is sanitary, brand new, and was never used or installed by anyone before you. If we accepted the return of toilet seats, then we could not make the same guarantee to the next customer.
"When I received my toilet seat, the manufacturer's box was not sealed and had already been opened. Did you send me a seat that was returned to you by a previous customer?"
The seat you received was brand new and unused by anyone before you. When we receive a shipment of seats from our supplier into our warehouse, their boxes are often opened for inspection, to make sure the seats are not damaged or defective; we also inspect the seats before we ship them to you, to make sure they're correct and in good condition.
We hope that we have helped you with one piece toilets at PlumbingStore.com
