"I purchased one of the Mixet shower cartridges, and I can't get it to thread into my valve. Is there something wrong with my cartridge?"

Make sure the cartridge is in its "fully open" position. If it is not, the outer sleeve won't insert adequately in the valve, which will prevent the cartridge from reaching the threads.
